The Mary
Towneley Loop covers approximately 47 miles of varied terrain and
surfaces.
To enjoy the ride fully, please ensure that you and your horse are fit to complete an 18 mile day, including hill work. It is essential that shoes are sound prior to starting the trail. Check that tack is sound and comfortable for both horse and rider. |

Weather conditions are unpredictable! Waterproofs can be required at any time of year - or you could be lucky and need the sun cream. Remember it is better to take layers off than not to have them with you. |
